Education
I am an illustrator and educator based in Milan, working across editorial illustration, visual storytelling and printmaking — from cyanotype and mixed media to digital and motion.
Alongside my professional practice, I teach illustration and visual communication at Bauer and the Scuola Internazionale di Comics, and design educational programmes that connect visual research, technical practice and creative thinking.
My work as an educator is rooted in the belief that images are not made with tools — they are made with ideas. I am interested in helping students learn to think through images: to develop a concept, build a visual world, and find a language that is genuinely their own.

Teaching approach
I believe that every student carries a personal visual imaginary, shaped over time by images, films, books and fragments of visual culture.
We are, in many ways, a constellation of the things that have influenced us and stayed with us. In my teaching practice, I guide students in exploring this constellation and transforming it into a more conscious visual language.
Rather than focusing on style, I work on the relationship between idea, image and narrative, helping students develop their own voice.
What student do
In my classes, students are guided through a process that combines research, experimentation and project development.
They:
- Build personal visual references
- Develop visual concepts and narratives
- Experiment with materials and composition/span>
- Create a final visual outcom
Each project grows through feedback and iteration, allowing students to strengthen both their visual thinking and their confidence

Fantastic Flora
Building an imaginary garden
Fantastic Flora is a small imaginary garden taking shape through images, materials and intuition.
A workshop dedicated to constructing imaginary botanical worlds.
Through collage, found materials and cyanotype printing, participants create hybrid and symbolic plants, exploring the boundary between observation and imagination.
Making a City
A city that doesn’t exist yet, but could.
Making a City is a collaborative workshop where participants build an imaginary city by creating and assembling visual elements into a collective map.
Each building, street or fragment contributes to a collective composition, forming a layered urban system shaped by different perspectives and visual languages.

Exploring light, shapes and sky
A workshop designed for children, focused on exploring the sky as a space of imagination.
Using acetate sheets, drawings and cyanotype printing, participants create layered compositions inspired by clouds, light and constellations.
A playful approach to image-making where light, composition and imagination come together.
Available for teaching, workshops and collaborations.
